Either you love them or you don't. But no one can deny their contribution to human happiness! Or OUR contribution to THEIR happiness! All you have to do is leave and come back and they are thrilled by your very presence! Who else is this happy to see you day after day? So let's make a pact. Let's all remember to show those we love how happy we are to have them with us. It's probably okay to wiggle around while you're at it, too.

Sun shine! Bird song! Rain showers! What really sets spring apart from the other seasons? Flowers! Copius, lavish, indulgent, fragrant; hues of radiant rainbows and demure pastels. What colors are emerging in your world, and in your spirit, this spring? I'd love to hear about them!
Winter lends itself to introversion and reflection, if one lets life's natural rhythm prevail. What are you remembering this season? Perhaps, like me, you are remembering someone who you'd known your whole life. A person you will never see again, will never hear their voice or feel their touch. Perhaps for you a particular place comes to mind. Let's remember together.
I write to offer reminders of goodness and messages of comfort as we deal with the struggles of life. Please feel free to share a struggle you're having today, or a comforting reminder for someone else.
When I was in 4th grade my teacher,Mrs. Bradley, told my parents on conference night that I could be a writer when I grew up. In grad school I wrote a paper about adolescent psychology. The professor was so moved by it, she encouraged me to write and get published. I write almost daily: the mundane, struggles, triumphs, pains, joys. I write prayers of thanks and desperation. I write notes as I read the inspiring words of others. I have a drawer full of journals. Writing is therapeutic for many of us. Have you given it a try lately? Tell us about it!
